About Us
CenterPoint Human Services oversees public mental health, developmental disabilities and substance abuse services in Forsyth, Stokes, Davie and Rockingham Counties. To accomplish this, we work closely with community partners, advocates and service providers on a daily basis to address the needs of all people in our communities. In addition, CenterPoint seeks guidance from the Consumer & Family Advisory Committee, CenterPoint Area Providers Council, community collaboratives, our board of directors and a host of other community-focused organizations. In fact in 2008, CenterPoint employees were a part of over 60 community agency boards and committees. To further community goals, we are also involved with law enforcement and justice systems, school systems, hospitals, housing authorities and governmental officials.
CenterPoint Human Services has national accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). CenterPoint was granted a full three-year accreditation and received “exemplary” marks for two CenterPoint-driven programs. To find out more about CARF, click on the logo.
