Board Of Directors
The CenterPoint Human Services Board of Directors acts to plan, budget, implement and monitor the support provided to clients with mental health disorders, intellectual/developmental disabilities and substance abuse issues and their family members. The area of North Carolina served by CenterPoint and its Board are Forsyth, Stokes, Davie and Rockingham Counties.
The Board seeks to represent the interests of clients and family members in meeting the diverse needs of the disability community. Three members of CenterPoint’s Consumer and Family Advisory Committee (CFAC) serve on the Board as voting members. Additionally, CFAC members serve on Board sub-committees such as the Global Quality Improvement Committee, the Finance Committee, the Clinical Advisory Committee and the Human Rights Committee.
The CenterPoint Board of Directors includes members from each of the counties it serves through County Boards of Commissions appointments and at-large assignments. Composition of the Board is guided by NC Session Law 2013 – 85. Board representatives are required to attend 75% of the meetings per year.
The Board of Directors meets on the fourth (4th) Thursday of each month at 5:30pm. All meetings are held on-site at CenterPoint Human Services, 4045 University Parkway, Winston-Salem, NC 27106 unless otherwise noted.
